Sensitivity

Definition

The ability of a test to correctly identify individuals who have the condition (true positive rate). A highly sensitive test rarely misses true cases.

Example

A COVID-19 rapid test with 95% sensitivity correctly identifies 95 out of 100 infected individuals.
